ABOUT THE CONFERENCE

Two decades of gamma delta T cell science — in one room

The International γδ T Cell Conference is the only scientific meeting in the world dedicated exclusively to γδ (gamma delta) T lymphocytes — a distinct lineage of immune cells bridging innate and adaptive immunity, with a growing role in cancer immunotherapy, infection, and tissue homeostasis.

Held every two years in a different country, it brings together basic researchers, translational scientists, and clinicians to share unpublished results, challenge existing models, and set the agenda for the field. Since Denver in 2004, it has grown from under 100 participants to over 350 delegates from more than 30 countries.

CENTER OF EXCELLENCE

P4Health – Precise Phenotyping and BioDataBanking

Independent department and innovative R&D unit within the structure of Łukasiewicz – PORT. Its scientific activities focus on two research areas: translational neuroscience and psychiatry, and oncology and neurooncology.

The center’s mission is to accelerate the development and implementation of personalized medicine in Poland and Europe, bringing together research, clinical practice and industry into a collaborative environment where innovation directly translates into improved patient care.

THE CITY

Wrocław – the city of a hundred bridges and a vibrant scientific community

Wrocław is one of Central Europe’s most vibrant and historically rich cities. Located in southwestern Poland on the Oder River, it takes its nickname from the dozens of bridges that cross the river and its islands.

Wrocław is home to several universities and a thriving research and innovation ecosystem, making it one of Poland’s leading academic cities. Its multicultural character – shaped by centuries of history – gives it a distinctly open, cosmopolitan atmosphere.
